First time I've been to Field Lane Fisheries and they didn't disappoint. Loads of chips and the fish was really lovely. Very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back.

This is the best fish and chip shop for miles, it hands down beats its rivals in Brighouse, Compo’s cafe in Holmfirth has nothing on this, neither does the Kingfisher fish and chip shop on Denby Dale Road. It’s remarkably still priced reasonably and serves a loyal, local customer base (including me). Lunchtime specials are offered, the fish is crispy, the batter great. Their chips aren’t soggy, the bits (or scraps) aren’t burnt, and the staff are always pleasant and polite. We always get our fish and chips here now and it’s become a bit of a tradition for us. We love this place and hopes it carries on trading for a long long time.

Great, Great and Great. I had the fish and chips and it was some of the best I've ever had. Shame, I live in london otherwise I'd be there every week. The staff was also lovely. Couldn't recommend any more :)

The best fish and chips in Yorkshire! It's the first meal our daughter asks for when she comes home from uni and they cannot be from anywhere other than Field Lane Fisheries! We are so lucky to have them literally on our doorstep!😊
